I know that you can get Federal loans for online school as long as the school participates in the Federal loan program. What I have often wondered is how I get the funds or how the funds are disbursed if there is not technically a campus or financial aid office? Does anyone have experience with this?

I think it works the same way as a regular school. Even though the classes are online the school still technically has a financial aid office that the loans get sent to. they certify the loans and apply them to your account then send you any refunds.

If the school, online or other, does not participate in the federal loan program than you can not get a federal loan. In those cases scholarships, www.studentscholarshipsearch.com and www.scholarshippoints.com and private loans, www.privatestudentsloans.com are your best bet.
