I am in the process of getting a marketing degree online. I am wondering if when I apply to jobs if they will see an online degree differently that a traditional degree? I hope not but its a concern of mine.

increasingly, online degrees are acceptable to many employers. View accredited online bachelor degree programs. Accredited programs are accepted by most employers.

Most employers believe that it takes a great deal of commitment and determination to succeed at an online degree. They feel that students who opt for such courses are disciplined and able to multi-task and balance work, school and other responsibilities – all necessary traits to excel in most careers. I graduated with an online MBA degree from Stevens-Henager College and had no problem whatsoever getting a good job. When choosing any online degree programs just make sure that the college or institution is accredited to avoid hassles in the future.

I agree with henrygray, but to an extent. Only where jobs require a high level of expertise and commitment, but in the business world saturated with MBAs, marketers etc not to mention the economy, an online degree may sometimes take a back seat.

No, according to my personal experience there is no discrimination between online degree and campus degree in job market. I have done my MBA at caluniversity.edu, which offers distance learning programs, admission’s counselors will make your education experience smoother and easier than you ever thought possible. You can take up any of the new courses among several Masters and Doctorate programs available.

Now I am working as a finance manager in a very reputed finance company.
