The courses they offer are 100% free ? I checked the link that rajuguru provided. I don't see any free courses.

Some schools are offering free classes, but you would need to check with the particular school's FAO. There are restrictions attached to the free classes. I know there is a couple of community colleges in Phili that are offering free classes and more schools were going to adopt the same policy.

The aim behind the free classes was to help those who could not afford school and are currently unemployed. Of course the other way to lighten the cost of education is to secure a scholarship. Check out http://www.studentscholarshipsearch.com and http://www.scholarshippoints.com.

Thanks of the list of great online courses... Please let me add this site powerlearning21.com. This site features all imaginable online courses from academics to fine arts and even software tutorials. It has good database of videos for grade school and secondary lessons.

Yes!!! Sorry the first links weren't directly to free courses --- Edvisors (where the links up there go to) is a highly respected resource for ACCREDITED online colleges. If you are looking for straight free courses, request information from universities with programs of interest, ALSO research various companies and associations related to your industry --- often they provide quality educational information for free through online "webinars" or courses - you generally don't receive traditional college credit for free, but can audit a course, or follow lectures for free - search for universities that have podcasts of lectures you can download / streaming -----> the information can be just as helpful and very current / relevant! Definitely a good thing to keep you up to speed in your industry...
