Online Classes Are Great

Postby Silkyboy on Wed Jun 03, 2009 4:09 pm

Online classes are better than tacos. My whole life is spend behind my laptop and I love it. Online poker, chat rooms, and classes. I go out back of my house and soak up the sun while doing my school work. HAHA - the thought of me and my pasty white skin sitting in a classroom with my shirt off just crossed my mind, although I'm working on my bronzed look as I type this. Point being is that my boxer brief / no shirt attire is not a problem.

My one suggestion to anyone who wants to take online classes is to "try" to set aside the same amount of time every day/week. What I do is commit 1 hour per day to my studies. I do 30 minutes in the morning after my coffee when my mind is sharp and 30 minutes after dinner. It has worked for me. My lowest online grade to date is a B+. It's not hard to keep up with the work if you just do the assignments!

I wonder if I can get married online?

I agree that online classes are good but not all the times. Online classes will develop the students to work on their own or being independent to others. It also helps the students to discover their own strengths and weaknesses because they are just by their own. But on the other hand it has a disadvantages because the social interactions of students will not develop or form in a right manner because they don't have enough practice on how to socialize, participate and cooperate well. I hope that my idea will help.

you know what pleng, my idea is likewise as yours. i think that we should not depend to much on online classes for the reason that it cannot give you feedbacks about the lesson that you would like to master on. eventhough it is interactive, it doesn't mean that all of the information are in there. how will you know if you are really learning or not if the net cannot provide you enough monitoring? i know accessibility really is an advantage but does it properly guides you into the process of learning? think about that..

I do all my classes online. The most important things in online education are personal time management and studying process organization. Distance study mode is the only option for me as I have now opportunity and time to study full-time or even visit my uni while studying part-time.

From my own experience, online classes are very flexible and lets you pick particular courses you want to study rather than getting everything in the curriculum and not mentioning the pre requisites. Its fast, cheaper and gives you the opportunity to study at the comfort of your home.

I took an a course on Accounting at Edvisors and it was fascinating. I also take some time to make my own videos and post it on powerlearning21.com to earn me some money.

Could you please provide more details on these online courses. MBA online and I'm going to continue online education as found it really flexible and the price is affordable.

Online classes have become more and more popular, particularly among people who are mid-career, looking to either advance their career or achieve a higher education. Online courses do offer a level of flexibility, which is ideal for those who have career and/or family commitments.
