I want add my experience that is similar to Sheryl's. We initially enrolled our child in this school in January of 2009. At first we received all sorts of emails from the school about how they would monitor the progress of our student. We received our first email from them in April stating our child had not logged in lately, to do school work that month. Yet when we checked his online progress sheet it indicated he had been doing work and that he was over 50% complete with all of his classes. We called them to discuss this issue and they said they would look into it and call us back. No one ever called us back. In May he finished all of his studies and took the final exams in each class. After which we received a notification on the progress report stating that all classes were completed. Then we get an email in June stating he had not logged in lately, so we checked into it and found all of his work was missing. It indicated he had completed one quiz in one class. We called the school to find out what happened they stated they had computer problems but would retrieve his work from when they last backed up the system. They said they would call us when it was finished. No one ever called. We called them later to register for new classes and we were told we couldn’t until we finished the previous year’s courses. Sure enough when we checked on the parent’s page at the progress report it showed no work completed and he had not signed into school once. All of his work from the entire year had been lost. We have been fighting with them since August to try and get the previous work restored. They have promised us that someone from tech support would call, which has not happened. I called to talk with Brandon Bonds who was the person that sold us on this program; he has yet to return our calls. Olivia suggested we try and take the tests again, which we did. We still have not seen any of them show up on the progress report. They are now telling us if we need an extension to complete the work, a second time, we need to pay them more money. I have asked for a refund of the tuition money, and they have refused. Our child has now taken all of the tests in these 8 courses twice and still has not received any credit for them. Olivia keeps saying it is not a problem, she will get it all restored and call us back. Neither has happened. After doing some checking around I find other parents having the same problems. Maybe a class action law suit from all of the upset parents and students would get their attention.
