In general, learning any language is certainly difficult. One thing you can look into to figure out the best way of going about it is what type of learner are you?
Do you tend to learn better from seeing things (like writing on a chalkboard, or watching a presentation)? or... maybe you're an audio learner, and absorb information best when you are hearing it in the form of a tape, or a teacher lecturing to a class. Perhaps both.
Once you figure this out, you should narrow down the format that works best for you, and choose a program that plays to your strengths.
